Read the architecture
We review the furniture plan, circulation and the visual weight the rug must carry.
The commission intelligence
Send the room, the intent and the installation window. Ettilux converts that information into a controlled specification for approval—proportion, drawing, yarn direction, surface and delivery path.
We review the furniture plan, circulation and the visual weight the rug must carry.
The composition is redrawn around the room rather than enlarged mechanically.
Yarn direction, color references and pile character are documented before production.
Your written approval becomes the atelier reference for making and quality control.

Designed for architecture
Luxury is not another menu of dimensions. It is a proportion that feels inevitable in the completed interior. Our studio reviews the room as a whole, then draws the rug to support it.

Material and provenance
Beni Ourain rug 100% thick and natural wool with fringed finishes on the edges. Exceptional and unique piece handmade by Berber women on wooden looms.
Their wool is made from very high quality, very soft and silky and very tightly knotted. Then the rug is washed for several days, in order to have an infinite softness to the touch. They differ from all other rugs by their fine and silky wool and by their intense thickness.
Beni Ourain rugs are the favourite target for interior designers.
Materials
Your order is made entirely by hand from 100% natural wool, which means there will be natural (and beautiful) variations in pattern and color. Wool shrinks! While we do our best, final sizes can vary by 1-4"
Tassels
Traditional Moroccan rugs feature tassels just on one side. You can toggle them on and off below, as you prefer! Tassel length is normally in the range of 4–6".
Lead Time
Each and every Beni rug is woven entirely by hand and then washed and dried in the mountain air. Due to high demand and the implementation of new safety protocols at our studios, current lead times are in the range of 4-6 weeks. For rugs larger than 9x12, please allow for an additional week.
